To simply define the word “ministry,” it’s the acts of services to our local community and to our community of faith. Jesus said that He didn’t come into this world to be served, rather to serve others.

In our aim to follow Jesus, we’ve created a few opportunities that you can choose from to serve others and, ultimately, to serve God. The people involved in our ministries are ready to help you grow in your spiritual life with God and to help you find where you fit best. We will walk along side you as you discover your niche in service and your direction toward God’s ultimate call on your life.

† Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is designed to provide an environment that aids parents in grounding their children in godly teachings, as well as continued early child development. The ministry provides care from newborn/infants to lower elementary school levels.

† Communications

Keeping our community of faith and the neighboring communities informed is key to keeping God’s message of faith, love, and hope moving forward. From maintaining our websites to video editing and from bulletins to graphic design, these many forms of multimedia keep everyone in the know.

† The Dash

There’s always a new and upcoming generation within the current generation. And it’s that upcoming generation that’s always setting out to do new and amazing things. Couple that with the purpose of God and you have a recipe for spiritual greatness. Our 20Somethings Ministry is a place for our upcoming young adults to explore, engage in God’s movement, and exhibit His love to the world around. Join us every Friday night at 630 p.m.

† Hospitality

Every event we sponsor, from our Sunday services to our leadership training events and from our community outreach projects to our banquets/luncheons, a committed team helps to provide food/refreshments to keep our stomachs full and our minds stimulated. The idea behind the Hospitality Ministry is to create an environment where everyone feels at home.

† Impact Youth

Impact Youth exists to love God and to love others by helping to build and rebuild relationships with our family, friends, and the community. Impact Youth also aims to provide creative ways to understand  who we are in Christ and by challenging each other to help others to discover God’s potential for their lives. From Impact Wednesday’s, a weekly hang out, to Impact Sunday’s, a weekly youth service, Impact Youth is a great environment for the youth of our community to grow in their relationships with God. † Life Groups

Our Sunday services are two ways to get spiritually fed. But spiritual feeding shouldn’t stop there. New Life Center offers a variety of Life Groups throughout the week. From prayer focused groups to groups focused on young adults and from women centered to basic Bible studies, we offer a place for just about everyone. † Men’s

New Life Center’s Men’s Ministry exists to commission men in following their God-given responsibilities; in leading their families, and their communities. There are many opportunities provided for men to explore these avenues, from our Life Groups to our monthly gatherings.

† Prayer

Prayer is our direct line to God. We have a team designed to aid you in connecting with Him. From our Sunday morning prayer team to our monthly prayer gatherings, there’s plenty of opportunities to grow in your prayer life and/or to connect with someone for prayer needs.

† Laundry Love

Every city you visit you’re sure to find a pack of homeless and/or needy families struggling to get by. Many seek places to help in getting back on their feet. New Life Center is one of those places. One simple way we’ve helped to make that difference is by adopting a local laundry mat and providing FREE laundry service twice a month. In partnership with New Hope South Bay and Just One, our team is out at the Coin Laundry on the corner of PCH and Frampton Ave. Come join us every 2nd and 4th Thursday nights from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and see how you can make a difference.

† Women’s

Our Women’s Ministry is strong in godly teaching and intimate fellowship. From our weekly Life Groups to our quarterly celebrations, we have a place for women seeking to grow in their relationship with God.
